Course Summary
The Professional Nail Salon & Waxing Specialist Training Program is a comprehensive, hands-on career training course designed to prepare students for successful employment or business ownership in the beauty industry. This program combines professional nail technology, facial and body waxing techniques, salon operations, customer service, safety, and entrepreneurship to provide students with the practical skills and industry knowledge needed to excel in modern salons and spas.
Students will learn the fundamentals of manicures, pedicures, gel and acrylic nail enhancements, nail art, sanitation and infection control, skin anatomy, facial and body waxing, client consultation, and professional salon procedures. The course also covers business management topics including marketing, inventory control, pricing strategies, appointment scheduling, customer retention, and salon startup planning.
Through instructor-led demonstrations, practical laboratory exercises, and real-world salon simulations, students gain confidence in performing beauty services safely, professionally, and efficiently while developing excellent customer service and communication skills.
Upon successful completion, graduates will be prepared to pursue careers as nail technicians, waxing specialists, salon professionals, spa technicians, beauty consultants, or independent salon owners. Students will also receive a Certificate of Completion from KKC Academy, and the curriculum is designed to support preparation for applicable state licensing examinations where required.
