Course Outcome

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

  • Understand electronic notarization (eNotary) and Remote Online Notarization (RON) principles where permitted by state law.
  • Identify fraudulent documents, forged signatures, and suspicious transactions requiring refusal of notarization.
  • Successfully prepare for and confidently complete the Public Notary examination through practice tests, case studies, and real-world scenarios.
  • Develop the knowledge and practical skills needed to serve the public as a competent and trusted Notary Public.
  • Understand the fundamentals of starting and operating a professional mobile notary or notary signing service business, including customer service, recordkeeping, and business best practices.
